Training Programs

.
SELAH GROUP currently provides four training courses in a relaxed and
friendly environment at the Idaho Falls facility.  The courses have been
designed to provide the attendees with a thorough hands-on working knowledge of any system designed by SELAH GROUP.  Custom courses are available for applications indigenous to specific operating environments, even those not designed by SELAH GROUP.

Basic PLC Programming - 4.5 days

Content:  Need a nuts and bolts comprehension of PLC hardware?  Students gain a functional understanding of PLC hardware and develop basic ladder logic using relay functions, timers, counters, and some advanced functions.

Advanced PLC Programming - 4 days

Content:  This class provides students with functional applications of
advanced ladder logic.  Students experience and solve programming challenges
in current control system configuration.

PLC Serial Communications 3 days

Content:  Do you wish to use serial or Ethernet connections?  This course
provides students with a full understanding of how serial and Ethernet
communications work with the PLC and how to interface the PLCıs with other
serial and Ethernet devices.

Control System Design 2 weeks

Content:  This class provides an in-depth look at control systems
engineering.  This class does not teach theoretical information but
concentrates on implementation and how to apply the theory.  It looks at
system layout and integration from a "big-picture" point of view.
